The Quest Life
is the best life.
We envision a future where wildly curious people feel empowered to channel their creativity towards a more connected, playful, and caring world. Our path to this future? Questing.
Questing: A navigational
practice for your creative life
Questing can be explained by this simple framework:
Immerse yourself
– and your curiosity –
in a theme for a
defined period.
Explore the world
through the lens of your theme, learning and experimenting along the way.
Release creative acts
inspired by your journey and new way of seeing the world.
Through Questing, we’ve seen the power of Immersive Curiosity.
We define this as - consciously seeking new perspectives beyond the boundaries of your experience, past interests, or beliefs.
When you replace familiarity with curiosity, something magical happens. Your awareness expands. You try new things. You make unexpected connections. You discover hidden layers of the world. And gradually, you transform. Your outlook shifts, your self-imposed limitations soften. Life itself becomes a creative act.
This isn't simply a nice to have.
In a world of growing disconnection, narrowing attention, and cultural retreat into the familiar - we believe practising collective curiosity is one of the most hopeful things we can do to keep our creativity alive.
Our Story
In 2016, Sam Furness set himself a year-long challenge. He felt stuck on a conveyor belt of modern life. Craving more adventure, more play, more creativity - but unwilling to blow up the life he'd built - he renamed each month of the year with a different curiosity. January became Origami. April, Food. June, Colour. August, Animation. Twelve months, twelve completely different ways of seeing the world.
The project became a practice. The practice became a methodology - Questing: a navigational framework for living a curiosity-fuelled, creative life. And after five years of exploring personally, Sam began to wonder what Questing would look like as a communal practice.
In January 2021, Creative Quests launched - now, thousands around the world have taken on Quests, exploring their creativity with more curiosity, playfulness and care
